St. Joseph the Worker Job Club
The St. Joseph the Worker Job Club meets every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Center. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, and the club is open to anyone looking for employment, whether it is a first job, a transition to a new career, a return to the workforce or a result of outplacement.
The Job Club’s mission is to:
- Provide unemployed and underemployed parishioners with a forum in which to discuss and improve interview skills;
- Help participants build and strengthen résumés and cover letters;
- Furnish a safe, confidential environment in which participants may learn and practice effective employment search strategies;
- Provide parishioners who have work to offer with a channel for posting job openings;
- Offer moral support and confidence-building that will aid jobseekers in their searches for employment.
As we work together to navigate difficult economic times, the needs of our parishioners are foremost in our thoughts and prayers. The St. Joseph the Worker Job Club is asking for your assistance in helping those in our parish who are in need.
We are reaching out to employers who may have positions to be filled in an attempt to connect them with those seeking employment. Note: The Job Club cannot accept postings for babysitting positions or postings for/from minors.
